About us

The club runs from the local adventure group building opposite the school. It has full use of the ground floor of the building and an enclosed secure out door area. The club also has the use of the school playing field for larger sporting activities, and the school play ground with it's use of playground equipment.

 

The staff between them have many years experience of working with children and it is with great passion and enthusiam they work at the club. It is the clubs aim to offer outstanding care and committment to the families of Moulton and surrounding areas.

 

The club provides a variety of relaxed, messy, imaginative, and learning based play. We understand that at the begining and end of a school day children's needs can be very different. Some children need quiet and relaxed time where they can re-charge their batteries. Others however are full of energy which needs to be directed constructively.

It is from years of experience that we can offer the right balance to support each individual childs needs, so that you as parents can feel confident your child will be happy.

 

​How we are regulated.

​The club is regulated by OFSTED, they ensure that the club is running within it's legal requirments and that the standard of care that is being offered to your children is the best that it can be.

We, as a club, also choose to work along side other proffesional bodies who offer support and regular training opportunites, . We feel this is important to maintain our own high standards of development and profesionalism.

What qualifications do we hold?

​As stated by law, each member of staff has a full DBS check to ensure their suitability to work with children. Three members of staff hold a peadiatric level 3 first aid qualification, which is updated every 3 years.

The manager, hass an NVQ Level 4 in Early years practice, safeguarding, Recognising and supporting children with SEN level 3, managing behaviour level 3, food safety and hygeine for catering level 2.

The assistant manager holds a level 2 childcare qualification and is working towards a level 3 childcare diploma, safeguarding, food safety and hygeine for catering level 2.

All playworkers complete safeguarding courses and are encouraged to complete further training.
