Moon Sand recipie
Moon sand is one of the most played with activites we have at the after school club. It feels soft to touch, smells great and you can use it to make all sorts of things. It moulds into cakes and biscuites, or can form tall touretts of castles. I've had ice creams made for me in cones and special caves filled with gems. It is an endless activity, and so easy to make.
What you will need:
A large bowl
powder paint (optional)
Pour 8 cups of plain flour into the bowl. Then add 1 cup of the baby oil and mix!! It's that simple. If you would like a coloured version just add your chosen powder paint and mix that in as well. Sometimes I find it helps to get the children to mix it up with their hands after they have used the spoon.
