Schedule for Summer 2015


Week 1 - 20th -25th July   

Monday 20th July T-Shirt Painting. Bring in a T-Shirt/vest top and get creative with our fabric paints. In the past the children have created some beautiful designs and the best thing is you can wear them as much as you like. 



Tuesday 21st July Athletics Coaching. We have an Athletics coach coming to teach the children a variety of skills. Activities include Hurdles, Long jump, Javelin, Sprinting and much more. As well as games such as rounders, quick cricket etc.


Wednesday 22nd July Carnival Day Today is going to be all about making traditional carnival games. Penny pitcher, tin can toss, hoopla and many more. Then in the afternoon we are going to put together our own carnival and have a go on all of the different games, including getting our faces painted having cool tatoos applied and maybe some sweet treats.



Thursday 23rd July Visit from Local PCSO TBC


Friday 24th Visit from Dancing kidz dance - With a wealth of experience and a love of dancing your children are going to have a great time learning street dance with a mix of Zumba. Dancing Kidz are full of fun and energy and are sure to get everyone up on their feet!!





Week 2 - 27th -31st July            


Monday 27th July Football Zorbing- Date Zorbing is so much fun!! Huge hollow balls which replicate giant hamster balls and a great big field can only mean a fun day. Mix that up with a football and we're going to have some very tired kids at the end of today!!


Tuesday 28th July The Cube Challenge. I'm sure we've all watched ITV's The Cube and wanted to have a go, so today we're building our own and putting the childrens skills to the test! We will have a range of tasks suitable for all ages.


Wednesday 29th July Dominos pizza making class Dominos are coming in to teach the children how to make delicious pizza!! The children will get to make and bake their own pizza with choice of toppings.


Thursday 30th July Transport Day. With a supply of small, medium and large boxes we are going to build our own transport. It might be a train, a boat or an aeroplane. Whatever the children can imagine we can help them to make it. In the afternoon we will be out on the field driving, flying and sailing our wonderful creations.


Friday 31st July Bouldering. TBC We are lucky enough to have our very own bouldering wall at the MAG building. So with the help from staff from the adventure group the children will learn how to climb safely in a secure environment. TBC





Week 3 - 3rd -7th August          

Monday 3rd August Beach Day. We're bringing the beach to Moulton! Sand, Ice cream, Water- we can pretend to be anywhere in the world. Weather depending children may need spare clothes and a towel!!


Tuesday 4th August Den Building. With a love for the outdoors we find this to be one of the childrens favourite activites. We'll be building dens out of natural materials and playing team building games in the process. We also like to have a few 'special camping snacks'!! Children will need to wear appropriate clothes depending on the weather.


Wednesday 5th August Mini World Day. All children enjoy using their imagination. In this session we put this to the test and provide them with the resources to create a mini world. It could be filled with dinosaurs, pirates, faires or even a minature dolls house. At the end they can take their creation home with them.


Thursday 6th August Cake Decorating. From mini cake burgers to rose cupcakes this session is going to get everyones taste buds excited. We may even find the next Mary Berry!!


Friday 7th August Creepy Crawlie Roadshow. The Creepy Crawlie Roadshow gives children the chance to learn and interact with a variety of minibeasts. Some of the animals coming to visit are - snakes, lizards, scorpions, tarantulas, adult turtles, hissing cockroaches and more. Children don't have to hold the animals if they dont want to. In the afternoon we will be making our very own minibeast hotels to take home.





Week 4 - 24th - 29th August     


Monday 24th August- Village Scavanger Hunt. In adult led teams children will be competeing to find and follow clues all around the village, encouraging team building and friendships. Afterwards children will then design their own scavanger hunt and put it to the test in our secure grounds allowing other children to try it out.


Tuesday 25th August Nature Walk to the River.  An all time favourite at the club, a walk to our local river to see our beautiful wild life and have a picnic. Children are provded with nature spotting sheets to encourage them to find new and interesting things from the world around them.


Wednesday 26th August Textiles day. Lot's of craft items on offer to make and decorate, mini bags, decoupage, ceramic painting, friendhip bracelets, pottery and many more



Thursday 27th August Sports day Rounders, Football, Dodgeball and a Mini olympic games. This is the day to get active!! With our enthusiastic staff joining in, the children will have, great fun and hopefully be tired when you get them home!



Friday 28th August Phtotgraphy Day We will be exploring our local surroundings to capture signs of nature, village life, animals and of course each other. We will then print and edit some of our photographs and make photo albums to tressure the day.



The club has a whole host of other activites on each day which are not mentioned above, children are free to choose from a wide range of toys and games as well as craft supplies whilst at the club. We also have a wide selection of movies and comfy sofas for if the children need some chill time. We also take regular trips to our local park.
